FOUNDER AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Matthew Pacella founded Sanctus Capital Advisors with the mission of providing effective legal counsel, advisory support, consulting services and investment to early stage companies led by passionate and innovative founding teams. A serial entrepreneur, Matthew has served as a founding member, lawyer, consultant, director and investor to various companies in verticals that include technology, healthcare, infrastructure, investment banking and alternative energy.
Matthew co-founded Listing 2 Leasing, a SaaS company for real estate agents, brokerages and landlords, where he continues to sit on the Board of Directors. Matthew also serves on the Board of Directors of Auctus Capital Group, a high growth investment bank headquartered in Chicago, and provides advisory and legal services to numerous companies, including Gradient Cyber, a market disrupting cyber security SaaS company, Deskview, an innovative consumer product company that recently appeared on Shark Tank, Plasma Technologies, a cutting edge medical technology company and Propel Technologies, a healthcare consulting firm.
Prior to his work in the venture capital community, Matthew served as an attorney in the private equity groups of Kirkland & Ellis and Jenner & Block, where he represented private equity funds and their portfolio companies in various complex M&A and commercial transaction activity.
Matthew graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. and magna cum laude from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Matthew lives in Pittsburgh with his wife Laine and son Matthew Jr.
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Matt Marcolini currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for Sanctus Capital Advisors. In addition to his work at Sanctus, Matt also serves as VP of Client Development for ConfirmedHealth and betweenMD. Matt is responsible for business development, strategic account management, strategic planning, and search fulfillment for key client roles.
Prior to joining Sanctus, ConifrmedHealth and betweenMD, Matt was the Chief Executive Officer at Cathio, an app-based, donation, peer-to-peer, and remittance blockchain platform built for the Catholic Church and aligned organizations. Matt also served as Executive Director with Corsica Partners, a global executive search and organizational staffing firm providing comprehensive talent acquisition services to f500 and high growth technology companies. Matt co-founded GreenSpring Strategies, a D.C. based search firm out of college.
Matt graduated from Christendom College and lives in Virginia with his wife Elizabeth.
